Laser Welding Masterclass

A comprehensive introduction to using a laser welder.   This is suited to those with a general knowledge of jewellery manufacturing and industry professionals. 
Two sessions 
Session 1.  10am -1pm
1 - 1-30pm complimentary buffet lunch in the onsite pub.
Session 2.  1.30pm - 3.30pm

Machines will be provided by Free Form.  Please bring work with you that you would want to laser weld.  I personally recommend that you bring  mounts to be joined, chain repairs, ring resizing, re-claws especially on delicate pieces, and anything else that has bamboozled you.  This is your chance to question and get demonstrations of the full versatility of a laser welder.  
If a laser is out of your reach, I rent mine by the day in my workshop. If training hasn’t been completed then unfortunately you’ll not be able to rent my bench to do your jobs.  Many take the opportunity to come and use it for a day with a big batch of work once a month.  It’s surprising how much you’ll depend on it once you know its full capabilities and how much time and money you’ll save on repair jobs.
This class is substantially subsidised by me.  If you were to train at Free From Fabrication they charge £349 plus VAT a day.
