Electroplate is used in jewellery and antique restoration as well as gold vermeil on sterling silver. This training session will give you the confidence to go straight to your work bench and plate almost everything!
Pen plating can add depth and enhance designs adding another dimension to your pieces. Electroplating is also used by some for samples, making an items in a base metal and then finishing in gold or palladium for stock images or display items. This method can extend your catalogue reducing the costs to make a maquette.
The equipment provided plate rhodium /platinum, as well as gold, and silver. It’s versatile and affordable keeping jobs in house. You won’t need to outsource your plating jobs, it will save you money and time. No more waiting for the post, or having to take to Hatton Garden or The Jewellery Quarter.
