John Daniels Setting for Beginners 11 August 2025

A full day with industry professional John Daniels a fellow member of the institute of Professional Gold Smiths.  John has over 40 years experience of stone setting having worked in the heart of Hatton Garden for decades.  You will be in excellent hands of a perfectionist. 
In this packed day John will teach you how to:
Flush Set
Star Set  
Pave Set 
You will be taught using hand tools without the costs of microscopes and hammer tools.  Tools will be provided for the course along with metal and the stones you require. 
No previous experience is required.  This is an ideal course for any hobby crafter, jeweller that is starting out, or an academy student wanting to explore stone setting properly.  You will need to complete this course before going on to advanced setting.
